Joining us for the first time are Lauren Wahl & Bill Walker. They are Santa Cruz based musicians who have spent the past six months sharing their art with locals and small businesses as wineries, breweries and other venues have reopened. Bill Walker is a gifted guitarist who has spent the past 35 years teaching and playing music around the world, and is well known for building lush soundscapes. By layering percussive loops, instrumental melodies and sparkling harmonics, he creates endless combinations of wandering "real-time" sonic art. Lauren Wahl is an alt folk artist with sweet, dynamic vocal stylings paired with seasoned storytelling lyrics. Her discography is diverse and prolific, drawing inspiration from 90's era songwriters and her background in classical music. As a duo, the pair's musicality is professional and understated. Their set of originals, freshly imagined covers and on-the-spot improv create a uniquely relaxed, ethereal vibe with just the right amount of unpredictable playfulness.
